Inclusive Healing For Personal & Community Transformation
Are you Someone Who….
Feels like life has shifted beneath your feet, and you're no longer sure who you are?
Have you always been the strong one, the high-achiever, the caretaker but now you’re running on empty?
Is going through a life transition like embracing your culture, exploring & accepting your queer identity, moving to a new place or beginning to unpack the impacts of racism & unlearn harmful patterns?
Is stepping into a new role, whether it’s parenting a toddler after raising an infant, starting a new job, or navigating another big change?
Whether you’re adjusting to a major life shift or managing ongoing stress and emotional overwhelm, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to navigate it alone either.
Life may leave you feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, and unsure how to assert your needs; which may pop up while you’re navigating life. Together, we can honor all parts of this journey so you can reconnect with yourself and step into this next chapter.
In our work together, you’ll rediscover your voice, reclaim your boundaries, and begin building a life that actually feels like yours.

My Approach
“I work with adults who are navigating major life transitions. Many of the people I work with are recovering people-pleasers who’ve lost touch with their own needs after years of trying to do everything “right” both in survival and approval. My practice is influenced by commitment to social justice and inclusivity. I believe in fostering open and honest dialogue about the complexities of human relationships, systemic oppression and racism whether with yourself, others, or the larger systems.
I offer skills & resources that blend depth, honesty and sensitivity, guiding you through the intricacies of healing with confidence and understanding.
Using evidence based practices alongside somatic approaches, I empower individuals to cultivate personal wellness and deeper connection back to their physical body. My therapeutic approach integrates Somatic Experiential (SE) techniques, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Practitioner, along with guided mindfulness and meditation."- Alesia Garthwait LPC NCC CSTIP SACIT

My style blends warmth and emotional attunement with a social justice and identity-conscious lens.
